As the colder months approach, it's time to change things up a bit and add something new to your cocktail list. We've chosen three of our favourite  Winter Cocktails which are so easy to make at home, you'll be hosting your own cocktail parties every weekend!

1. The Winter Margarita
It's just like a traditional margarita but we add egg white. The base is split between Tequila and Mezcal, to give you those summer flavours but a nice smooth smokiness and thickness to create a unique flavour.

Ingredients:
30ml Tequila
30ml Mezcal
30ml fresh lime juice
20ml cane sugar syrup
1 egg white

Method:
Shake ingredients in a Boston Shaker without ice. Then fill shaker with ice and shake again. Strain into a coupe glass and serve with a salter rim.

2. Champagne Cocktail
This cocktail elevates the taste of a traditional glass of champagne and is a great starter at any cocktail party.

Ingredients:
120ml Champagne
1 sugar cube
Angostura Bitters

Method:
Add sugar cube to a champagne flute and soak with the Angostura Bitters. Fill the glass with chilled Champagne.

3. Rum Old Fashioned
The rum and its molasses flavour plus the allspice and Angostura bitters make for this lovely rich, slightly thicker version of the Old Fashioned.

Ingredients:
60ml Rum (12 year minimum)
1 bar spoon demerara syrup
3 dashed Angostura Bitters

Method:
Build ingredients in a double Old Fashioned glass with ice. Stir gently and garnish with a slice of orange and lemon twist.
